TAI CHI
Gentle, mindful movement, balance and flow. Guidance connects posture, breath and weight transfer into one calm, integrated practice.
TSINTZINAMOUNTAIN RETREATSTHE RETREAT
Movement, breath, forest and time of your own — in a small group and a place that naturally invites you to slow down.

THE EXPERIENCE
The retreat brings together Tai Chi, Qi Gong, breathwork, gentle movement, Shinrin Yoku, walking, nature observation, relaxation and personal time. Gentle moxa practices may be included when they suit the programme.
The focus is not intensity or performance, but release, mindful movement, deeper breathing and a meaningful encounter with the natural world.
SMALL BY DESIGN
Our retreats are intentionally designed for a limited number of guests. A small group creates more personal space, thoughtful guidance, an unhurried pace and a more meaningful experience.
THE PRACTICES

Gentle, mindful movement, balance and flow. Guidance connects posture, breath and weight transfer into one calm, integrated practice.

Breath, posture and simple energy practices. Short sequences support release and can be repeated easily at home.

Slow, sensory connection with the forest and its living environment. The silence, sounds and textures of Parnonas become part of attentive practice.

Gentle walks and a closer encounter with the Parnonas landscape. Pauses for breath and observation matter as much as the destination.
THE TEACHING
Tai Chi and Qigong are not presented as competitive exercise, but as mindful movement practices. Teaching begins with posture, release and breath, then develops balance, weight transfer and continuous flow.
The aim is for each guest to leave not only rested, but with a short, practical sequence they can continue at home.
FULL PROGRAMMEProgressive learning from first principles to integrated movement.
An introduction to the Eight Pieces of Brocade and a simple daily Qigong flow.
No previous experience is required. Guidance adapts to the group.

THE INNER JOURNEY
On the first day, the body gradually releases the tension of travel and daily life. Saturday deepens the practice through longer sessions, repetition and time outdoors. On Sunday, the principles come together in a simple personal sequence, so the experience continues beyond departure.
A GENTLE RHYTHM
Space for practice, nature and rest — without hurry.
The exact programme is adapted to the season, weather conditions and the composition of the group.
TSINTZINA, PARNONAS
Tsintzina, also known as Polydroso, is a traditional mountain village in Lakonia, set at approximately 1,100 metres on Mount Parnonas.
From the village loop and old mill to Agios Ioannis, Agia Marina and the forest paths, every walk becomes part of the experience.
